Last Friday The Amber Liquid Squids crept from the shadows of the Bermuda Slums to spill out a few tracks coupled with a few more beers at the Loft bar, central Squid City. As the soft Squid City rain fell down on the cyphers already in full action some local heads gave a taste of thier bedroom blues performing single tracks for an enormous prize pot of $50, not suprisingly Mr Speaker took the cash home. 
The night started off with the 1's and 2's to get the small but vibrant crowd in motion followed by Lou Lou and her compadre dropping some nice lyrics. Yeast hit the stage with knowledge that only few could pin point and delivered a single
track that although i have heard before was some of the freshest wording i have heard to date. The Squids scrambled together, after LC Beats further pleased the crowd with the fifth element and some digereedoo to perform several tracks they recently stapled together in a drunken frenzy. The night ended with a crisp set from Oakbridge and his fellow heads performing some sharp lyrics as most rounded up their goods to head home. Big ups to Burnsy for holding the night.
